Job Duties
As Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating daily warehouse and logistics operations (including LTL shipping, receiving, freight dispatch) to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries
Supervising, training, and evaluating warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance
Monitoring inbound and outbound shipment schedules, resolving delays or discrepancies, and coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to optimize logistics performance and cost efficiency
Overseeing inventory control activities (cycle counts, reconciliation of shipment records, maintenance of accurate inventory systems)
Managing freight documentation (bills of lading, invoices, shipment records), ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation standards
Participating in budgeting, labor planning, and forecasting to support efficient warehouse and logistics operations
Developing and implementing procedures to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance customer satisfaction
Ensuring facility and equipment safety standards are met (inspections, maintenance, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations)
Coordinating facility services such as cleaning, security, and safety inspections to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
Preparing and reviewing operational reports on shipping status, inventory accuracy, staff performance, and key operational metrics
Employment Requirements
Completion of a post-secondary program in business administration, logistics, facility operation, or related field — or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in warehouse/logistics operations
Several years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, or facility operations
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail
Work performed in both office and warehouse settings
Occasional lifting, standing, and physical exertion
