We are urgently hiring two experienced painters to keep up with our growing workload after securing several new commercial contracts. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional craftsmanship and flawless finishes, and we need dedicated professionals to help us maintain our standards and meet project deadlines.

Job Position: Painter
Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: $36.60 - $37.60 per hour (Depending on working experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Available early morning, daytime, evenings or weekends)
Work Location:
• Unit 4 - 1233 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V5V 3E2 (Our Business Location);
• Will be working at various residential / commercial locations (Client’s locations) within Metro Vancouver area, British Columbia

Benefits: 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation or 4 % Vacation Pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted;
• Remove old wallpaper and loose paint, and repair cracks and holes;
• Mix paint to desired color and texture;
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls by using brushes, rollers, or sprays;
• Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings;
• Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging;
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces;
• Analyze specifications to estimate the amount of materials required, and prepare cost estimates for clients as required
• Document work progress by noting completed areas, remaining tasks, and time spent on assignments, and report any issues as required

Qualification:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required;
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Painter is required;
• Available early morning, daytime, evenings or weekends;
• Detail oriented, and ability to work independently or as part of a team;
• Working knowledge of English.
