Job Description and Duties:
The General Farm Worker will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the blueberry farm. Duties include:
Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
Soil preparation, plowing, weeding, and packing of crops
Plant blueberry bushes following farm-specific spacing and planting techniques
Prune and trim bushes to optimize fruit yield
Hand harvesting of berries and maintaining post-harvest quality
Sorting, weighing, and grading produce
Assisting with the maintenance of farming equipment
Removing debris and maintaining a clean work environment
Adhering to farm safety protocols
